Charter Standard Monitoring
Sheffield and Hallamshire Football Association will be conducting Match Visits to uphold the integrity of The Charter Standard Award, by providing a standardised process for the Charter Standard Working Group to monitor the behaviour of Charter Standard Clubs in line with FA Guidance and Criteria.
To monitor clubs, Youth League Welfare Officers will be making unannounced visits throughout the season. On their arrival they will make themselves known to both clubs team managers and complete a form which links to all the criteria associated with Charter Standard. These reports will then be fed back to the Charter Standard Working Group, if there are any key issues then the Charter Standard Discipline Process will come into affect.
Match Visits
Clubs with Youth Sections
Community & Development Clubs – Each club to receive a minimum of one match visit per season. Charter Standard Clubs – Minimum of 15 Clubs per year to receive a match visit (to be randomly selected from the total number of Charter Standard Clubs). Where Poor Practice cases arise against a Charter Standard or prospective Charter Standard club or where Stage 2 of the discipline matrix is reached, a request can be made by the Football Development Officer/County FA Welfare Officer/Youth League Welfare Officer to make an unannounced visit extra to the initial plan outlined at the start of the season
