The FA has recently been looking at ways to improve young people’s experience of football, raise standards and, essentially, produce better players using a child-centred and developmental approach.

The study has been conducted by Nick Levett, FA National Development Manager for Youth and Mini-Soccer, and Les Howie, Head of Grassroots Football.

Nick and Les will be visiting South Yorkshire on Wednesday 11 April to deliver a presentation, which will explain their findings and detail how and why changes to the game should and need to be made. The presentation will also provide more information on the time-scales they are going to be working to and why the research was originally commissioned.

This will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions either generic to the youth review of specific to the impact on your league/club.
